Somewhere wrapped in that conundrum is one of the most intriguing cars I have driven in quite some time.First off, there’s the powertrain. Starting with something fairly simple — a double overhead cam four-cylinder, Volvo then adds a supercharger for low-end torque, a turbocharger for top-end boost, a hybrid electric motor for zero-rpm grunt.
